.SYNOPSIS...Dry conditions and warmer temperatures this weekend
before another chance of precipitation moves into the area early
next week.

&&

.DISCUSSION...Yesterdays weather system that brought rain and high
elevation snow to the area has moved on east. Cloud cover east of
Tucson as of this writing will be decreasing this morning. Mostly
sunny afternoon with some flat cumulus clouds around. Highs today,
under building high pressure aloft, will be at or a few degrees
below normal.

Sunday will see highs 4 to 9 degrees warmer than today with high
clouds passing through.

Monday: Breezy southwest winds as the next Pacific weather system
approaches the area. Cooler mainly from Tucson west.

Monday night: Scattered valley showers and high elevation snow
showers move across the area. Snow level mainly above 8000 feet.

Days 4-7 (Tue-Fri):
Showers ending from west to east on Tuesday with slight chances
mainly north of Tucson Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures
will be below normal during this period. No changes were made to
the NBM baseline initialization.

Days 8-14 (Feb 21-27)
Temperature: Leaning above normal (33-50%)
Precipitation: Leaning below normal (33-40%)

.FIRE WEATHER...Dry weekend with a brief warming trend. Unsettled
weather returns the first half of next week with periods of
valley rain and mountain snow. Strong and gusty southwest winds
are possible Monday and Tuesday with speeds of 15-20 mph and gusts
30-35 mph.
